Eurocrane metallurgical cranes comprise two main types: metallurgical electric single girder overhead cranes and metallurgical casting overhead cranes.

Metallurgical casting overhead cranes are key equipment in steelmaking and continuous casting processes. They are primarily used for charging hot metal to converters across the charging bay or transporting molten steel to refining furnaces and continuous casting ladle turrets in refining and steel bays. Structurally, these cranes are available in multiple configurations, including double-girder double-rail, four-girder four-rail, and four-girder six-rail designs. Double-girder double-rail and four-girder four-rail configurations are typically suitable for medium to heavy tonnage applications, while the four-girder six-rail dual trolley structure is commonly designed for even heavier lifting tasks. Operation methods include pendant control, remote control, and operator cabin control, with non-standard customization available based on specific automation requirements of customers.

Metallurgical electric single girder overhead cranes are specifically designed for handling molten metal in metallurgical, casting, or quenching applications. They feature EWH metallurgical electric hoists as the lifting mechanism, with the main girder and bottom incorporating special thermal insulation treatment. This model is suitable for working environments with temperatures ranging from -10°C to 60°C and relative humidity not exceeding 50%. It can also be used for lifting other molten non-metallic materials or red-hot solid metals.
